DANCERS: You are the ones that make Stanford Dance Marathon great. Dancers are the heart and sole of the event, pledging to take a stand for one whole day in solidarity with all those battling HIV/AIDS around the world. Each dancer raises at least $192 - that's $8 for each of the 24 hours that they commit to be on their feet. Every year, hundreds of students from Stanford and partner schools participate as dancers and raise money by getting support from family and friends, participating in SDM-sponsored fundraisers, and initiating their own creative projects. 600 dancers will participate in SDM08.

Dancer registration has now closed. To find out if there are any open spots, contact us.

MORALERS: Ever wonder how 600 dancers get through the marathon? Moralers are the key to their success! Moralers attend SDM in 3-hour shifts, providing a critical boost of energy for the dancers. With crazy costumes, endless enthusiasm, and killer dance moves, Moralers show up in droves to support their dancer friends and keep the party going all night long. They also do their part for the cause, pledging to raise $40 or $60 for Partners In Health depending on their shift.

Sound like a blast? Moraler registration will open Wednesday, January 9 at 10 PM.
